Welcome to the Ankerherz vacation home in Fedderwardersiel
Ankerherz is a semi-detached house (108 m²) located at the very end of the “Am Kutterhafen” neighborhood
Because the house is connected to our own property, which includes the Butje vacation rental, Ankerherz has the great advantage of being just a stone’s throw from the harbor; the foot of the dike is only 50 meters from the terrace.
Ankerherz was furnished in the winter of 2021 and has been available for rent since April 2022.
The house features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one of which has a sauna), a kitchen, and a large living and dining area with a fireplace.
The bedroom on the first floor has a large double bed; there is also a spacious, modern shower room and an utility room with a washing machine.
The two other bedrooms upstairs each sleep 2 people. Here, you can sleep either in the larger bedroom with a large double bed or in the other bedroom with two single beds.
The bathroom upstairs features a shower, bathtub, and a sauna.
The house is heated by underfloor heating powered by a heat pump.
From the small loft on the upper floor, you look directly down onto the living area.
You can sit comfortably at the wooden table with its 6 seats… perhaps not just for meals
The small kitchen has everything you need:
From a coffee maker, Senseo, SodaStream, toaster, egg cooker, oven, microwave… to the items not listed here, everything is ready and waiting.
In 2023, the attic was completely customized, creating an additional room and providing space for two more beds. The attic room is accessible via a pull-down ladder leading from one of the bedrooms.

Ankerherz has space for three cars, and with the “Wallbox,” you can charge your electric car right outside the front door.
A lockable bike shed adjacent to the house provides space for bicycles, strollers, etc.
The covered terrace is furnished with summer seating and a grill, and thanks to the fence separating it from the neighbor’s property and our own lot, you have your very own private space. The house has fly and mosquito screens in all bedrooms and on the patio doors.
Bed linens and 2 towels per person can be provided for 12 euros.
A complimentary starter pack is always provided (toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, laundry detergent, scented oil for the sauna, firewood for the stove).
A high chair and a crib are also available free of charge.
In addition to peace and relaxation, there are plenty of activities to enjoy with your children. Fedderwardersiel has a small museum, and you can also take a trip directly from here on the “Wega 2.”
In nearby Bremerhaven, it’s worth visiting the Klimahaus, the Emigration Museum, the Zoo am Meer, and more.
In the small town of Jaderberg, a 40-minute drive away, a park with animals and attractions awaits you… fun for the whole family.
