The Daurade neighborhood is an historical place of Toulouse with a dynamic harbour till the 19th century, located a few steps away from the Capitole, the hearth of the City.
The name Daurade comes from the Occitan (french south west language) " Daurat " which means Golden, refering to the decoration of the nearby huge church.
