Summary: We stayed at the property for two weeks. The house had lots of little issues, which in them self were not a problem, but added together were quite disappointing. The shower door kept coming off its hinges, one of the shower door knobs was missing (just a screw), some of the cupboards did not shut, the cooker was not secure, quite a few of the dishes were dirty (certain items we just avoided). There were no house towels provided. These issues were compensated by the lovely outdoor area including a nice pool. The house advert does not state that the pool slide is for children only, although disappointed we stuck to these rules, however the house owner told us off for using the slide incorrectly. Our 12 and 10 year old girls were apparently going down it wrong (too fast, or on their front...it should be slowly on their bottom) which resulted in the frame moving. Even when they went down slowly it moved after a few goes. As we chose this property above some others because of the slide we were disappointed that they could not enjoy it properly. The nearby town was lovely and we drove to a lovely waterfall not too far away, where we swam in the water and under the cascade. For some reason my eldest did not like her room, which had the balcony level in it. After the first night she would not sleep in the room, this is very unlike her as she has never had any issues sleeping anywhere before. Fortunately there was a spare bed in with our other daughter so she slept there for the rest of the holiday.
