It is located a minute's stroll from the famous Place aux Herbes. On a protected street of the historic center of this charming town, on the second floor (European), of a 4 century old building. While the lower two floors are occupied by the owners of the building, who were once owners of a well-known Château Hotel, this apartment is an completely independent home. You will be Chez Vous.
The restoration has strived to maintain the character and proportions of the original historic home, while providing all modern conveniences, and a lot of charm. It is pleasing to the eye and soothing to the senses. The remarkable free-standing circular stone stair case remains a tribute to the engineering skills of the builders of centuries ago. The wooden ceiling beams and old stone floors have been maintained throughout and lend a special historical ambiance to the rooms. The spacious and gracious living room looks out over the fig and bamboo trees, and the new swimming pool of the small garden of the property and the rooftops of the town, while comfortable seating, elegant furnishings and the light and airy atmosphere make for a relaxing experience. A small corner desk is looking out over the garden is perfect for writing or working with a laptop via the WIFI. There is air-conditioning in the living room for the summer and heating for the winter, as well as the possibility of a warming wood-burning fireplace.
